​My intention in creating this piece was to showcase the awe-inspiring nature of the ocean, capturing the dynamic and ever-changing movement of the waves. Through the use of color, texture, and form it invites the viewer to immerse themselves in the scene, feeling the power and energy of the wave crashing down before them. The background hints at distant land or rocks, grounding the wave within its environment and adding a sense of scale and perspective to the composition.
