​2021 Northern Beaches Environmental Art & Design Prize was centred on our unique Australian landscape and creative ideas around renewal, regeneration, and our human experience around it which led me to create this artwork...with my poem written into the work:
You can consciously cleanse in the ocean pool
Seeking enlightenment from the universe's school
Dive right in and refresh your soul
The cooling spray will make you whole
Deep in the waters all troubles will cease
The baptism and renewal will bring you peace
As you break through the surface to breathe anew
Know there's a revitalised life ahead for you!
