A photograph of Dee Why Pool by @Carriebrockphoto inspired the creation of Smashing Wave! Ocean pools give me the most inspiration and I try to capture the violence of the wave spray with the comparative pool tranquillity. The Northern Beaches rock pools always display nature at her best day after day and you never tire of the changing kaleidoscope of colour, movement, and drama.
